How do I solve the video buffering?

How do I solve the video buffering?

We are sorry if you are currently having this issue.

We use vimeo as our streaming service which is an industry standard video streaming service similar to Youtube. It hosts millions of users worldwide and is a paid service by us, with dedicated streaming servers all over the world. This is meant to ensure students get a great experience with streaming. You can also check the status of vimeo here - https://www.vimeostatus.com/

Try below to test further:

Frequent buffering can occur when the viewer’s Internet bandwidth does not support the playback of the selected video quality.

1. Try switching to “Auto” in the quality menu (the default) or try one of the lower settings.

If “Auto” is not available or you do not see an improvement, switch to one of the lower quality options such as 720p or 540p.

2. If possible try on a different computer or mobile device that is not on the same wifi or internet connection.

If there is still no improvement,
  1. Run speed test on your network - https://www.speedtest.net/ and email us a screenshot of results.
  2. Email a link to the course page you are on so we can test.
  3. When watching the video, press "D" key. Take a screenshot of the results similar to below. Importantly we want to know bandwidth and dropped frames. Do not copy the "debug" payload as this is used by vimeo and not us.
